How to find us
Penjerrick Garden is situated about three miles south-west of Falmouth. Coming from the A39, initially follow the signs for Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens. After three miles off the A39, you cannot miss the signs for Penjerrick. Please feel free to park on the grass verge along the drive.
The address of the garden is:
Penjerrick House, Budock Water, Falmouth, Cornwall
The garden is open 1 March – 30 September every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, 13:30-16:30 or by appointment.
Coach parties (preferably morning visits) are kindly asked to pre-book. It is unfortunately impossible for coaches to park along the drive or turn inside the property. It would be advisable to arrange parking in the car park at the hotel opposite the entrance to the garden (Penmorvah Manor Hotel). In this case, visitors will have to walk down the drive to reach the entrance to the garden, which is about 150 yards.
Please pay the entry fee at the honesty box.
Adults: £3, Children up to age 15: £1.50.
Travelling by Bus
The 35 bus service runs every hour and links Penjerrick with Falmouth, and by extension Truro and other towns. We suggest using Rome2Rio to help plan your journey: http://www.rome2rio.com/s/Falmouth-England/Penjerrick-Garden
This spring-flowering garden is at its best from March through to May but also interesting in summer and autumn. Towards the summer, paths become increasingly overgrown.
Boots, wellies or solid walking shoes are advised as the paths may be slippery, particularly after some wet days.
Unfortunately the garden is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and the disabled.
Dogs are welcome on leads. There is neither a cafe nor a lavatory at the garden. The nearby villages of Budock and Mawnan Smith both have pubs.
